Exercise of the Month - Kettle-Bell Swing
The kettle-bell swing is a staple in throughout many gyms but is all too often performed poorly, putting the individual at risk.
Prior to attempting the swing ensure you hinge well at the hip and can perform a solid Romanian deadlift.
When swinging focus on maintaining hinging backwards with the hip as opposed to a bend forward and keep the upper arm tight with the ribs.
Try not to use the arms to lift the weight, instead driving powerfully through the hamstrings and the glutes to create the swing with the kettle-bell prior to hinging again.
