Doing this exercise incorrectly can have an distinct impact on the back and increasing the occurrence of low back pain

this comes about as a result of using too much of the low back and increasing lumbar extension as a way of achieving full Range of motion

In order to strengthen the hamstrings effectively by using the hamstring curl it is important to achieve full range of motion but only when the low back is maintained in a neutral position
